Schools will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17th, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. However, District 153 has teamed up with the Village of Homewood to honor Dr. King’s dream by supporting three agencies that provide critical services to those in need in our community.
Our three schools have “adopted” the following organizations and will be collecting donations on their behalf through Jan. 17th. Please click the links below for more information about needed donations.
Willow School: The South Suburban Humane Society (needed donations)
Churchill School: Anew (needed donations)
James Hart School: Respond NOW (needed donations)
We hope our Wildcat, Bulldog and Panther families will be as generous as possible in their support for our neighbors in need this winter.
