My name is Mrs. Patricia DeBoer; I will be your child’s 1st grade teacher this year. This is my fourth year at Willow school however; it is my 11th year teaching over all. I have a masters degree as a reading specialist, from Olivet Nazarene University.
I am looking forward to meeting you and your child this school year. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at any time. I strongly feel that parents are teachers too. So please feel free to contact me with any feedback that you may have so we can make this school year a successful one for your child. During first grade, your child will build on skills learned from kindergarten while learning new ones. I hope to instill learning that will last throughout your child’s year of school. I have many wonderful ideas to bring to the classroom so that your child will have fun while learning.
