Welcome to Room 20! My name is Caryn Shannon and this will be my 12th year at Churchill. I was a resident of the Homewood community for 14 years, and attended Churchill, James Hart, and Homewood-Flossmoor High School. Growing up in this district I was able to personally experience the high standards this community holds for its teachers and students.
This year your student will be learning in a wide variety of subject areas that will enrich his/her education. Our class will attend P.E. everyday, Music twice a week, and Art, Computer Lab, and Library once a week. We will visit the learning center several times throughout the week as well. In the classroom your child will be engaged in meaningful activities that cover the subjects of Math, Reading, Spelling, Social Studies, Science, Language Arts and Writing.
