I hope that those of you that attended math night had a great time! Here's what we have going on this week:
Math: We are finishing up chapter 4 this week and we'll have a test on Wednesday. After that we'll complete a little bit of chapter 6 and focus this week on integers.
Science: Students will begin this week by taking a quiz on what they learned in PS-7. Then we'll begin making our Cartesian Divers this week. Students will need to bring in a 2-liter bottle.
Spelling: We are working on Unit 11 this week as we look at "ie/ei" words and at the different endings of words.
LA: We are writing introductions this week and begin writing the body paragraphs as we proofread and edit our work for persuasive writing.
Reading: Students are continuing to work on the comprehension skill of connecting to the text through the key ideas.
