James Hart School, the 7-8 grade center, utilizes accelerated curriculum for advancing students at high levels. Students are serviced based on mastery of content in specific subject areas. Acceleration opportunities are available in math, language arts, and foreign language. Students may complete a year of high school placement credit in math and foreign language.

In addition, James Hart School’s enrichment program focuses on providing identified students with enrichment opportunities which extend beyond the classroom. These experiences include field trips, guest speakers, and other possible opportunities. The focus of the activities relate to science, history,engineering, fine arts, and math.

James Hart enrichment coordinator, Mrs. Carolyn McMahon, will provide these experiences once or twice a trimester.
