Board of Education

Homewood School District 153 is governed by a Board of Education consisting of seven residents of the school district. They are elected in staggered four year terms and serve without pay. The Board of Education determines the policies which guide the operation of the school district.

Copies of the District Board Policy Manual can be found at the district office as well as at the office of each school building.

School board meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, unless otherwise announced, at the James Hart Media Center, 18220 Morgan Street. Public attendance is welcome. Time is set-aside on the agenda for public comment.
