From the Principal

Welcome to Churchill School Located in Homewood, Illinois, in the southern suburbs of Chicago, our school serves the 450 third- and fourth-grade students of School District #153. Our school offers a unique opportunity for students, parents and staff as members of a school community geared to the specific needs of children ages 8 through 10. The cornerstone of education in the Homewood community is the positive working relationship between home and school. We are fortunate to have the strength of a talented teaching and support staff dedicated to providing a quality education for our students. Their experience and professional expertise offer our students the best that public education has to offer. This exceptional staff works with an active and involved parent community. Through their efforts with the Homewood PTA, as classroom volunteers and in their daily support of the educational process, our parents clearly communicate to staff and students their commitment to excellence in our schools.
